Obituary of Josue Tellez Travis

Josue Amelio Tellez-Travis was born August 29, 2023, to Madison Travis and Jorge Trujillo Tellez and joined his big brother Jorge Antonio Tellez-Travis (Anthony).

Josue passed away unexpectedly on October 25, 2023, at Phoenix Children’s Specialty Care.  Despite his short time on Earth, he was deeply loved and brought immense joy to all those around him.

Josue was preceded in death by his grandpa, Bruce Travis.

Josue is survived by his parents Madison Travis and Jorge Trujillo Telle and his big brother Anthonyof Avondale,AZ; his grandparents, Kelli Travis of Fountain Hills, AZ, and Jesus Carrillo and Alma Tellez of Avondale, AZ; Step grandmother Sara Travis of Brandon, SD; his aunts and uncles, Kennedi Travis of Fountain Hills, AZ, Luis Leyva and Elisa Peralta of Glendale, AZ, Camilla Tellez of Phoenix, AZ, Megan and Fiona Travis of Brandon, SD, as well as great grandparents, many great aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 3, 2023, at Samaritan Funeral home in Phoenix, AZ.
