After Bill became ill during spring semester while co-teaching my class at UF, which was based on his book, I told him they wanted to know if I would be teaching the class again during the upcoming fall semester. I didn't believe it would be fair to incoming students for me to attempt to offer the class without Bill's live input because their classmates had spread the word of how interesting the course was because of Bill's presence. So, I asked Bill what he thought I should tell UF's Admin, and he said to tell them that we'll do it. That's the spirit that I will always remember about Bill: onward and upward...I am going to get better so I can be in place to teach future generations about what I believe is most important in life. What can be any more of an important goal to shoot for?
